Megan Fox Perfect ‘New Girl,’ Max Greenfield Hails Her Funny, Wonderful Attitude

Megan Fox as the new "New Girl" impresses sitcom costars
Actress Megan Fox has made a big impression on her “New Girl” caste Max Greenfield, Jake Johnson, Lamorne Morris and Hannah Simone behind the scenes with her vivacious, grounded and humorous attitude. Greenfield described the “Transformers” actress a perfect fit for the show and wonderful co-star to work with.

Greenfield, 35, told People that Fox was a “perfect roomie” in an apparent reference to her role as the new roommate of Jake Johnson, Lamorne Morris and him on the popular Fox sitcom. The television actor, who acts as Schmidt, a ladies man, on the show, also praised the actress and her comedic chops on the “New Girl” set.

"Oh my God, so great," was the response of the actor when asked about Fox’s camaraderie with costars at Hollywood premiere of The Big Short, comedy-drama movie made about the 2007 recession.

'It's hard to keep a straight face,' Greenfield quipped to emphasize on the funny side of Fox and her talent as a natural comedian. He admitted that her skillful acting made the TV drama a lot funnier.

The “New Girl” costar had all praise for Fox’s grounded nature. He described the personality of the Hollywood actress a natural fit as the girl to go after considering the way three male protagonists are presented in the sitcom and audience was going to fall in love with her.

Twenty-nine-year-old Fox has shot for four “New Girl” episodes and has been an instant, seamless hit among her costars. She plays the role of "a gorgeous, straight-shooting pharmaceutical sales rep" on the Fox sitcom. She will be a tenant, who stays in the room of Jess, the lead female character played by Zooey Deschanel.

In September, Time reported about the entry Fox to fill the void caused following the departure of Deschanel, who is on maternity leave. The actress made her debut in a comic character in the movie “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen,” that became the second-biggest box office grosser in 2004.  Her role in the 2005 television show Hope and Faith was appreciated and she received the youngest artist award.

The first episode of the “New Girl” season 5 starts at 8 pm on January 5.

Homemade Edible Powders: Beetroot, Onion, Garlic, Ginger, Lemon, Orange, Sambar, Kurma, Garam Masala

The title says it all. This post is all about edible powders that can be used as flavoring agents, natural color, and to make food visually attractive. What more do we need? Though I am not too much in favor of drying food and storing the same, this is the best option for those days when these veggies are out of season. During the season, please make it a point to enjoy these fresh and flavorful. There's nothing better and healthier than fresh produce, right?

Okay so the idea to make these powders popped up in my mind as I had too many beetroots at home. When nobody was too eager to have them, the best way to still consume these beauties was to sundry them to powder. I did exactly that.

Then I wondered if I can sundry lemon peels into powder just like we do to orange peels. I have been using orange peels as a face pack thus far. But since the baking bug has bitten me badly, I plan to use it as an edible powder for cakes and cookies too. Fingers crossed for the results though, sin…

Diabetic Diet Cake With Watermelon: A Vegan Recipe

While people are still debating whether watermelon is a diabetes-friendly fruit, I still stick to my notion that diabetics can have this fruit for its sheer hydration effect. Not only this, the fruit is loaded with minerals, nutrients, and antioxidants that make it a health-friendly food. However, diabetics with kidney issues should avoid watermelon. Anyway, let's come back to the watermelon cake recipe for diabetics. Well, this cake uses another fruit - banana- which even I do not think is diabetes-friendly. But I went ahead with including a banana for this recipe merely to keep the fat content low. I hope you all know that a banana is a good substitute for an egg for an eggless cake recipe.

Since an egg is also loaded with saturated fat, diabetics should avoid it at any cost. So I had to choose between an egg and a banana for this diabetes-friendly cake, and ended up voting for this humble fruit - which is one of my favorites too. Yes!

When you think of a vegan diabetes-friendl…
