A shout out to dieters, weight watchers! When on diet, some of you feel like "falling off the mountain into a ditch." Perhaps eating is one of the most essential activities of your day, and you do not want your food to be bland, isn't it? Worry not.

Here we have come up with diet food recipes that are bursting with flavors from healthy spices, herbs and custom made just for you.

Eat in moderation and exercise daily, and you will never have to worry about being on a diet.

I have never used artificial colors, preservatives, nor flavoring agents for my recipes. I even tend to avoid tutty fruity, which is loaded with sugar. Better to make it at home though. I wish to look for a natural alternative to baking powder as well, which causes severe allergic reactions in many people. Alternatively, you will never even find margarine in any of my preparations. I research a lot and make sure nothing unhealthy goes in. Moreover, I always prefer substituting butter with a blend of homemade desi ghee and vegetable oil/olive oil. These days I prefer using almond butter, which is an even healthier alternative for baking - healthier than peanut butter. Substituting sugar wtih jaggery is certainly a healthier alternative, as it slowly raises blood sugar levels, compared to refined sugar, which causes blood sugar spikes.

. I am on a healthy cooking journey - rather, I should say, I prefer alternative medicine from nature's pharmacy, instead of allopathic or Western medicine. Always make healthier choices and you should be on your way to a healthy living. Not to forget the importance of regular exercise. 

Nevertheless here are a few tried-n-tested low fat recipes that are rich in fiber and can help your weight loss goals. If you are trying to manage weight, these diet recipes can come in handy.

Deciding food for dietersis no difficult task. To me, a healthy body can be achieved by eating right and burning the extra calories.

In my pursuit to stay healthy, I make healthy meal plans. This includes snacks and cookies as well. After all, I am a cookie lover and need at least one cookie as an accompaniment with my hot cup of tea. 
Hubby is different. He needs some form of evening snack - so I often try experimenting with food to make it little healthier. This includes low fat recipes.

I do not claim I make superfoods, but certainly most of my Indian food recipes qualify for weight loss. This includes healthy oatmeal cookies and snacks that can be savored as foods for dieters.

How?

Well, most of my healthy snacks use a good amount of oatmeal and whole grains and low amount of fat.

Doesn't that make a healthy combo?

Indeed it does!

Now you might ask if condensed milk qualifies for a weight loss recipe. My only argument is it does not, but if you mix and match it with fiber and grains, it does give you a healthier treat - at least healthier than the market junk.

As I say, this is my healthy eating collection that has kept me healthy and in shape all these years. Additionally, I always make sure I go for a morning walk and drink loads of water every day.
