Lauki Kofta in Appe Pan

lauki kofta Recipe: Lauki kofta in appe pan Lauki or bottle gourd -1 small Besan -3/4 cup 1/4 tsp Haldi (turmeric) 1 tsp sukha dhaniya powder (Coriander powder) 1 tsp Curd  1 tbsp Ginger grated Salt as per taste 1 tsp Oil for greasing appe pan Grate lauki using a grater. Squeeze water. This is an important step. Grate ginger and add to bottle gourd. Add salt, haldi, coriander powder, chilly powder (if you are using), and besan.  Check for consistency. Add curd. Mix well. Grease appe pan. Make little balls and place in appe pan. Cover appe pan with a lid. Place a skillet (tawa) beneath the paniyaram patra (appe pan) and keep on medium flame. Check after 5 minutes.  Flip sides of each ball in the patra and cover again. Keep checking in between until done.

Oil Free Cheese Cutlets in Appe Pan

cheese cutlets in appe pan Cheese Cutlets Recipe 1/2 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese) 1 boiled potato 1/4 cup oats (optional) 2 tbsp suji 1 tbsp curd salt as per taste 1 tsp garlic-ginger-chilly paste 1 grated onion coriander leaves 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) Mix everything and make cute little balls. Grease the appe pan with a drop of oil. Place a skillet (tawa) on direct flame. Put the appe pan on the skillet. Place balls. Cover the pan with a lid. Heat on medium flame. Fry for 5 mins and then flip sides of the little roundels so that they are evenly heated from all sides. Serve with coriander chutney or condiment of your choice. I relished these cuties as an accompaniment with rice.
