Can puffed rice be made in oven?  Yes!

How is murmura prepared?

As its name suggests, murmura is made from rice. Rice grain is roasted until it puffs. Will post a video if anyone is interested in making murmura at home from scratch.

Is murmura good for weight loss?

Well, since it is made from rice and comprises fiber and complex carbs, you tend to feel fuller quickly. So it might be a good addition to your weight loss regime since after snacking on air fryer roasted murmura, you may not feel the need to eat anything further. AVOID DRINKING WATER after murmura or puffed rice or rice flakes (poha).

But overeating or guilty eating can result in weight gain, obesity, and diabetes. Though there are fewer murmura calories, it has a high glycemic index, which might cause blood sugar spikes in people with diabetes, if not eaten in moderation.

How do you crisp soggy Murmura?

If your murmura has gone soggy, air fry it for a few minutes or keep it in direct sunlight for the whole day. It will crisp up beautifully.
