We all love sweets. Actually indians are fond of traditional sweets but our sweets are typically packed with fat and calories. But there are ways to twist traditional sweets to make them a tad healthier.

 
For example, we all our crazy for boondi laddu. Pata nahi boondi ke ladoo mei aisa kya hai jo sab itna crazy hai uske liye. Even I am. But my healthy bug doesn't let me indulge in this classic indian sweet. I don't let hubby do so too.
So I decided to create boondi laddu in a new avatar. This might surprise you all. But if you believe my words and trust my recipes, then I guarantee this millet laddu will remind you of boondi ladoo.
Sweetened with jaggery, baked in an Airfryer and enriched with millets and flavored with elaichi and besan
Fat used ghee

foxtail millet sweet recipe of ladoo 

ingredients
1 cup=240 ml

1/2 cup- besan

3/4 cup- cooked millet

1/2 cup- jaggery

1/4 tsp- cardamom powder

4 tbsp or 1/4 cup solid ghee

2 tbsp water


Cream fat with 1/4 cup of jaggery along with cardamom powder. Then add the remaining jaggery powder until it all turns creamy and pale.

 Add water and whip again until creamy 

Stir in sifted besan atta.

Mix and then add cooked millet. Grease a baking dish. Spread melon seeds and raisins.

Pour the dough into the baking dish.

Bake in a preheated airfryer (160 deg c for 5 min) for 20-40 min at 160 deg c.

Check, if baked.

Make millet laddu with jaggery and decorate with melon seeds .
