Simple Tips for Home Decoration

home decoration
Home decoration comes easy to those who are open to making a few adjustments here and there. If you are looking for a relaxing ambiance at your own haven, you can easily make your home a more beautiful place to live in. By adding a few décor elements here and there and making little adjustments, you can add color and definition to your room and make it an even cozier paradise for your family. If you are an admirer of rustic décor, you might like this explicitly decorated home.

Home Decoration Ideas

You might like to begin your home decorating project by choosing wall décor items. Adorn the walls with framed or unframed art, wall mirrors, sculptures, tapestries, silver trays, or your own work of art as eye-catching ornaments. You might want to choose a wallpaper to create a focal wall. Augment your windows with window film or art glass, or try custom blinds and shades. Remember, the best wall treatments should not fade away in the background but stand out.

Furnishing

When comfort is the focus in your living room decorating project, you cannot forget to include comfortable furniture. The casual yet sophisticated room should have a comfy setting, with a comfortable bed and sofa with a rustic edge.

Vintage Trunk

There is always something special about using a vintage trunk as an accent piece in a living room, adding charm and nostalgia to your space. While you might like to set it in front of the bed to make a striking focal point, with ample storage space to store blankets, sheets, bed covers, or pillow covers, it might also be positioned as a coffee table in the living room as an exquisite accent piece. You might want to choose a trunk with a striking contrast in color and design to the rest of the home décor to make it stand out from the setting.

If the trunk color contrasts with the storage cabinet while complementing the rest of the room decor, it will certainly add interest. The vintage trunk will not only act as a coffee table, but also as a place to display some of your favorite decorations, adding a little more charm to the living room decoration.

The home decoration looks well balanced and cozy. And if there is a fireplace in the room, it will make the atmosphere more warm and inviting. Place a few decoration items from your vintage collection on the fireplace mantel to make it stand out and create an even more rustic feel.

Rug

Choose a rug that complements the entire setting, and goes well with the vintage trunk. Use a rug that sits perfectly on the floor and matches well with the sofa and wall treatment. No great striking contrast, but a soothing effect on the eye! Such a home decoration setting forms a cozy, inviting lounge area.

You might paint the wall and ceilings in neutral tones to sit well with the rest of the setting and create an elegant focal point.

Bottom Line

Your home decoration project is all about testing your creativity by experimenting with the setting or making a few adjustments to your living room. A change always looks better to the eye. You might want to add a candle stand beside the sofa as a corner accent in place of something that takes more space and blocks the outside view. The large windows in this room are an open invitation to natural light, and you won’t want to place anything that prevents light from traveling in. Allow your home decoration to glow in natural light and rejoice!

Can we use the soaked water for millets? Does millet need to be soaked?

Do millets contain anti-nutrients? Yes, they do. In fact, all whole grains, including oats, contain phytates, which bind to minerals and make their absorption difficult for the body. Soaking is the first step toward reducing anti-nutrients from millets. Soak for at least 6-8 hours to make digestion easier. Discard the soaked water and then proceed to the next step of cooking. Remove foam from top to reduce gassy elements from millets.  How long should millet be soaked before cooking? Soaking the millets overnight is a safe practice. Soaking breaks down the phytic acid in millets or for that matter grains and nuts. Phytic acid hinders the absorption of minerals and nutrients in food, including calcium, iron, and zinc. How? Phytates bind to minerals and nutrients and make their absorption difficult in the gut. Your tummy finds it tough to digest millets in that case. So soaking millets and draining off that soaked water makes it easier on your tummy.  Are millets safe for thyroid? Does
