Jowar Bread Buns Without YEAST|Vegan Cheese Recipe (Sourdough Bread India Series with SORGHUM Flour)

Well, the method shown in the video for baking whole wheat flour kulcha without oven gives you excellent results. However, if you wish to bake it on tawa, then you can place the baking dish on top of the skillet. Cover and cook on a low flame. Do not increase the flame. Brush with oil when almost done. Cover with a moist towel for 10 minutes when the jowar bread buns without yeast are done. Enjoy with vegan cream cheese.

You do not need one to bake a bread. Take any stainless steel bowl for baking breads.

ingredients 1 cup- 240ml 1/2 cup- sorghum flour or jowar atta
1/4 cup water +2-3 tbsp more 2 tbsp- sourdough starter 1/4 tsp salt + little extra for filling 1 tsp- extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil

Heat water until it comes to a rolling boil.
Add oil, golden syrup, salt and stir in the flour.
It will look little dry. Turn off the flame.
Keep it covered for 10 minutes or until it cools down.
Then give it a quick knead for 1-2 minutes.
Remember, it is a gluten-free bread recipe, so do not expect the same kind of kneading results as you get with whole wheat bread.
Next stir in the starter.
Top it with little water just to mix it with the dough.
Knead again until the starter is incorporated into the gluten-free bread dough.
Make a round ball of the dough. Brush some oil and keep it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 6-10 hours. better to keep it overnight and longer.
After 6-10 hours of bulk fermentation, remove from the fridge.
Let it come to room temperature and rise.
The dough might look like it is cracking. DO NOT WORRY.
Press gently.
Make round balls to make bread buns.
Put on a greased baking tray and set it aside for 45-60 minutes.
The jowar buns will rise.
Preheat oven, airfryer, convection, otg to 200 degrees for 10 minutes.
Brush some oil on top of the sorghum bread buns and top with vegan cream cheese with cashews.
Then sprinkle little flaxmeal for the extra omega 3 punch.
Top with extra cream cheese vegan. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Brush with oil and again bake for 5 minutes.
Enjoy jowar bread buns without yeast hot or cover with a moist towel for 10-30 minutes for the extra golden color.
For vegan cream cheese ingredients 8-10 cashews, 1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds, Soak in 1 cup of water for 1-2 hours add black salt, black pepper, mint leaves. Grind to paste. Cook on low flame. Add 1/2 tsp flax meal Turn off the flame Mix with lime juice and lemon zest. Refrigerate until use. This vegan cream cheese is so very yumm and spreads easily like cheese.
