Baked Paneer Pakoda

If you love pakoras and are often guilty of indulging in these deep-fried fritters, then I have a alternative - a slightly healthier one, of course. Try baking your favorite paneer pakora in airfryer (oven/otg/convection ), and you can enjoy this treat with a little less amount of guilt. I have not had paneer pakodas for so long. You might be interested in them. Air fryer pakora is surely a healthier, low-calorie version of traditional Indian pakoda. If you have been craving for pakoda, here's my version of the baked paneer pakoda or air-fried pakora. Is Airfryer food really healthy,? Absolutely, yes! Compared with deep-frying, an airfryer reduces overall calorie intake, giving you weight loss recipes. Research finds that calorie intake is reduced by 70 to 80% for many people who start using air fryers.

What is an air fryer and is it healthy? An airfryer uses hot air for cooking. It is healthier than microwave baking and does not emit harmful radiation. Not only this, it is an excellent, time-efficient way to crisp up veggies for picky eaters at home.
Is it healthy to use air fry machines? There;s no reason you should not use an airfryer for frying, cooking, and baking. To me, it;s been the best investment. Truly, it is the best invention as well.
Here's what research says about airfryer cooking benefits.

Is Airfryer safe for health? Well, it is safer for health if food is not heated for longer at higher temperatures that burn it. If you bake something, you are heating it at high temperatures.Similarly, with an airfryer, you are heating food at high but avoid turning food black to make the most of an airfryer.
Are air fryers toxic? Air fryer cooking can be toxic if you heat food to an extent that it turns black and carcinogenic.
How does an air fryer work? An air fryer is absolutely worth buying to cut down on your fat and calorie intake. Air fryers use circulation of hot air for heating and cooking food, making it a healthier alternative to deep frying. The cooking chamber blows air and heat from a heating element while an inbuilt fan circulates hot air.

Q. What are air fryer health disadvantages and advantages? Well, the only disadvantage is you might indulge in eating a lot of stuff that you would otherwise ignore because of high calories. But since an airfryer is a healthier alternative to deep frying, it reduces most of the calories. However, what's the use if you start to indulge in food and end up eating too much? Q. What is the best air fryer in India? I use Prestige PAF 3.0. It's been my best investment. I have also used Philips airfryer of my friend. it's also good and bakes quickly than Prestige. However, Prestige gives you a stainless steel basket compared to most other indian airfryers that come with nonstick. Q. Is air fryer good for Indian cooking? Absolutely, it's good for all forms of cooking, heating, frying, and baking.

Ingredients

1/4 cup- besan or chickpea flour
1/4 tsp- coriander powder
1/2 tsp- salt
1/4 tsp- each- red chilli powder/turmeric powder
hing
110 gram of paneer (cottage cheese)
1 tsp- oil
2 tbsp- curd

Whip together all ingredients, except paneer.
Coat paneer with the batter and refrigerate for 30 minutes
Preheat airfryer to 200 degrees for 5 minutes.
Bake for 20-25 mins at 200 degrees.
Sprinkle some chaat masala and enjoy airfryer pakodas (paneer).
Q. What are air fryer pros and cons ? Well, I would always avoid eating pakodas because they are deep fried. But with an airfryer, I have been able to bake paneer pakora for a guilt-free once-in-a-while indulgence. I do not think there are any airfryer disadvantages.

Can we use the soaked water for millets? Does millet need to be soaked?

Do millets contain anti-nutrients? Yes, they do. In fact, all whole grains, including oats, contain phytates, which bind to minerals and make their absorption difficult for the body. Soaking is the first step toward reducing anti-nutrients from millets. Soak for at least 6-8 hours to make digestion easier. Discard the soaked water and then proceed to the next step of cooking. Remove foam from top to reduce gassy elements from millets.  How long should millet be soaked before cooking? Soaking the millets overnight is a safe practice. Soaking breaks down the phytic acid in millets or for that matter grains and nuts. Phytic acid hinders the absorption of minerals and nutrients in food, including calcium, iron, and zinc. How? Phytates bind to minerals and nutrients and make their absorption difficult in the gut. Your tummy finds it tough to digest millets in that case. So soaking millets and draining off that soaked water makes it easier on your tummy.  Are millets safe for thyroid? Does
