oats cookies recipe in airfryer without egg maida

Today, I bring to you a simple cookie recipe with malai, atta, oats, and almonds. So these ingredients combine to make cookies healthy, right?

Jaggery is my star sweetener here. But feel free to use any dry sweetener of choice to make crispy cookies without baking powder or soda. If you are new to the channel, do not forget to explore hundreds of healthy biscuit recipes. I do not use maida or refined sugar.

SO let's see what I have come up with today.
Ingredients
20 cookies (medium-sized) 1 cup 240 ml 3 full tbsp of refrigerated malai 1/4 cup each of whole wheat flour, oat flour, almond flour 1/4 cup +2tbsp jaggery powder 3-4 green cardamom 1 tbsp extra oats flour or 2 tbsp almond powder

To make healthy biscuits in airfryer, you need 1/4 cup+2 tbsp of sifted jaggery powder. I have mixed my jaggery powder with green cardamom for this recipe.
Next add 3 tbsp of malai or cream that floats on top of boiled milk. Please use refrigerated malai.
Whip until mixed.
Sift 1/4 cup of whole wheat flour. Mix.
Sift 1/4 cup of oat flour or oats powder. Mix.
Add 1/4 cup of almond flour or almond powder. Mix.
If the cookie dough feels too soft, add 2 tbsp extra of almond powder or 1 tbsp of oat flour. I have used oats powder here.
Combine into a dough. It will be a soft dough - just like all of my healthy biscuit recipes without baking powder and soda. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
Preheat airfryer, oven, otg, convection or cooker for 10 mins at 160 degrees celsius.
Roll out the dough into a thick chapati and cut shapes. You can make insertions with a fork.
Bake at 160 degrees celsius for 12-14 minutes or longer , depending on your appliance.
Baking time might vary from one machine to another, though the temperature should remain the same.
Let healthy atta malai cookies cool down before munching on these crispy bites.
You will love everything about these healthy biscuits. I hope you like the simple oats cookies recipe. If you do, hit the like button. Do not forget to hit the bell icon for regular notifications.

Can we use the soaked water for millets? Does millet need to be soaked?

Do millets contain anti-nutrients? Yes, they do. In fact, all whole grains, including oats, contain phytates, which bind to minerals and make their absorption difficult for the body. Soaking is the first step toward reducing anti-nutrients from millets. Soak for at least 6-8 hours to make digestion easier. Discard the soaked water and then proceed to the next step of cooking. Remove foam from top to reduce gassy elements from millets.  How long should millet be soaked before cooking? Soaking the millets overnight is a safe practice. Soaking breaks down the phytic acid in millets or for that matter grains and nuts. Phytic acid hinders the absorption of minerals and nutrients in food, including calcium, iron, and zinc. How? Phytates bind to minerals and nutrients and make their absorption difficult in the gut. Your tummy finds it tough to digest millets in that case. So soaking millets and draining off that soaked water makes it easier on your tummy.  Are millets safe for thyroid? Does
