let's make sweet makhana recipe for Diwali

1 cup- powdered makhana (fox nuts) 1/2 cup- almond powder 1/4 cup- pistachio powder 1/2 cup- jaggery powder 1/4 cup- malai 8 tbsp- water rose petals or cardamom powderThen grind to powder separately. We need 1 cup of makhana powder, 1/2 cup of almond powder, and 1/4 cup of pista powder.
Take 1/2 cup of jaggery powder in a bowl and cream with 1/4 cup of malai. I added rose petals here. But it's optional. You may add cardamom powder instead.
If you don't have malai, you may use 3 tbsp of ghee instead. Mix well. Add 2 tbsp of water and mix again. Add 1/4 cup of makhana, pista powder and mix and add almond powder 1/4 th cup. Add 1/4 cup of water and cook on medium flame. Add the remaining makhana and almond powder and continue to cook until the mixture is cooked well.
Shape the makhana sweet. I gave it the shape of a peda. Decorate with pista powder and almond powder. Set the makhana sweet for navratri fast in the fridge. Enjoy!
