Ingredients and how to make badam milk kulfi

add 1 cup milk to a blender along with 2 tbsp of malai. if you don't have malai, skip and go ahead. throw in almonds, pistachio, walnuts, and strawberries (optional). for sweetener, I have used 100% pure gulab sharbat from a local producer in rajasthan. they use no chemicals or colors or even preservatives. the producer claims to make rose syrup with desi khand, which is a form of raw cane sugar instead of processed sugar.

blitz until the nuts blend into the milk and the ingredients combine into a homogenous mixture, which is more like a thick puree.

bus ji ho gaya. now freeze the milk badam kulfi for 1 hour. then after an hour, run the processor again for 2 minutes. our goal is tp break any ice crystals that form in the kulfi since we have not heated the ingredients, ice might form initially.

now pour into kulfi moulds and freeze for 2 hours. if you freeze beyond 2 hours, the pista badam kulfi might harden. but it's such a yum treat and a favorite with my hubby. i am sure your family will also be delighted with this easy kulfi recipe. to ab wait kiski hai bhia.

chalo rasoi main and prepare your ice cream, now. do write to me about your review of the easy kulfi recipe. take car until we meet next with yet another healthy recipe.

Can we use the soaked water for millets? Does millet need to be soaked?

Do millets contain anti-nutrients? Yes, they do. In fact, all whole grains, including oats, contain phytates, which bind to minerals and make their absorption difficult for the body. Soaking is the first step toward reducing anti-nutrients from millets. Soak for at least 6-8 hours to make digestion easier. Discard the soaked water and then proceed to the next step of cooking. Remove foam from top to reduce gassy elements from millets.  How long should millet be soaked before cooking? Soaking the millets overnight is a safe practice. Soaking breaks down the phytic acid in millets or for that matter grains and nuts. Phytic acid hinders the absorption of minerals and nutrients in food, including calcium, iron, and zinc. How? Phytates bind to minerals and nutrients and make their absorption difficult in the gut. Your tummy finds it tough to digest millets in that case. So soaking millets and draining off that soaked water makes it easier on your tummy.  Are millets safe for thyroid? Does
