Crunchy, crispy, light in weight digestives are a tea time treat. of course, you can dunk them in your cup of warm milk too. If you love oats digestives but haven't got a hang of making your own batch of healthy cookies at home, then this easy chocolate biscuits recipe is for you. Let's see how you can bake healthy whole wheat oats chocolate digestives with jaggery that are crispy, light in weight and your tea-time partner. I have been baking a lot of cookies without baking powder and soda. But I have been craving for digestive biscuits for some time, so decided to make a batch with oats and whole wheat along with a hint of chocolate.

For the chocolate digestives recipe in airfryer, you need

240 ml cup

1/2 cup minus 2 tbsp jaggery powder (sift and use)

1/2 cup of whole wheat flour

1/2 cup minus 2 tbsp of oat flour

1 tbsp- besan or chickpea flour

1 tbsp- cocoa powder

1 tsp- baking powder (yes, for this oats digestives recipe, we need baking powder)

How to make cookies without parchment paper in airfryer

Sift all dry ingredients

Add 4 tbsp of solid butter. Start rubbing the fat into the flour with your hands. it may take 1-2 minutes or more. But this step is important.

Let's sift the flour-butter mixture. This sifted flour is your digestives premix. Store in a ziplock or airtight container in the freezer. Thaw and use whenever you are craving healthy digestives.

Next add water or milk 1 tbsp at a time. I required 3 tbsp to make a soft dough.

Do not knead. Preheat the airfryer to 160 degree celsius for 5 minutes.

Roll out the oats digestives dough into a thick chapati (1/4th inch in thickness).

Cut shapes and make insertions with a fork.

Place on a baking tray. I use my stainless steel basket to bake in airfryer.

Bake for 15 minutes at 160 degree c.

Check, if done. Else, bake for 2 minutes more. For oven, otg, or convection, oats digestives will take longer.

Let the healthy cookies cool down before enjoying one with a hot cuppa.

The hint of chocolate makes these digestives even tastier. Do try out the cookies recipe and share your feedback.

If you have ever tried any of my cookie recipes, please post in comments and share pics with me. I

Until next time. Stay safe. Stay blessed.

Ever imagines how to make curd without curd (with almonds) बिना जामन के दही ? Well, I am sure such use of almonds as a curd starter is nowhere in your thoughts, right? Perhaps we are not used to thinking on these lines until it happens incidentally and you want to share your experiment with others. I am happy to say that I have experimented with making curd without starter and it gives me creamy and sweet curd. बिना जामन के दही | How to Make Curd at Home Without Curd A Little About my Curd Love Give me a bowl of rich, creamy curd and I do not need anything else on my dining table. Perhaps as a Punjabi, born and brought up into a Punjabi family, I have that special love and fondness for curd. My parents have inculcated in me good eating habits - home food is the best, they would day, preach and practice. This has become ingrained in my thoughts. I detest outside food, and yes, I dub it as market junk. One reason I love all homemade stuff - mommade food is the best. But w
