For pizza base dough
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup curd
1/2 tsp baking powder & 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt + 1/4 tsp sugar (depends on your taste)
I tbsp oil

How To Make Yeast Free PIzza with Whole Wheat

  1. Mix all the ingredients and make dough If required add water. Make sure the dough is not sticky.
  2. Grease a pan, roll out the dough into a chapati, though this should be thicker than roti.
  3. Grate butter on it. Keep aside.
  4. Take a plate - slice onions, capsicum, and tomato and any other vegetables - options are galore -say sundried tomatoes, corn.
  5. Sprinkle salt, black pepper, coarse coriander powder, and tomato sauce. Mix well and add it to the pizza base or dough.
  6. Place the pan on gas. Cover it for 5 minutes.
  7. Then after 5 minutes, move the cover a little so that steam can escape.
  8. Let it sit on low flame for 8-10 minutes.
  9. Cut and serve hot!!
  10. I do not use butter, Mayonaisse, and other similar stuff. So mine is a humble homemade pizza with wheat flour.

    1. Thank you for stopping by. I do not use butter much - added just 1/2 tsp. Since it only adds calories and trans fats in the body.

    1. Well, sorry for the late reply. Yeast is not harmful for everyone but those that are allergic to it, have stomach or digestion problems. All in all, even baking soda and baking powder are not the best choice, if you plan to use these chemical ingredients every day. After all, these are chemicals and better to limit their use. Hope that helps. Occassional indulgence is still okay.

My parents have inculcated in me good eating habits - home food is the best, they would day, preach and practice. This has become ingrained in my thoughts. I detest outside food, and yes, I dub it as market junk. One reason I love all homemade stuff - mommade food is the best. But w
