Anyway, cutting the long story short. I decided to try a no sugar ice cream. I had 1 cup of watermelon and wanted to include it. Then I had a few leftover pieces of a mango, which wasn't completely ripe. Of course, you will always find hung curd in my stock.
I took the watermelon pieces. Threw them in the food processor and adding 1/4 cup of hung curd and 1/2 mango. Gave everything a churn until I got a pulpy (more watery) mixture. Poured the mixture in ice cream moulds and set them in the freezer.

The next day took these no sugar beauties out and enjoyed! Taste more like khatti meethi toffees that we used to have during childhood. These are more on the sour side than sweet. If you want these sweeter, please add sugar. I didn't because I like it less sweet :)
Ingredients for No Sugar Kulfi
1/2 mango - ripe (mine was half ripe)
1/2 cup- hung curd (here's a quick way to make hung curd- no cloth required)
1 tsp- honey (optional -I didn't add)
black salt or spice mix of your choice (optional) - you may even add jaljeera powder for a spicy punch
You may want to try another of my favorite no sugar, no cream nana ice cream. Check the recipe here.
